From The Michigan Daily Online:
Bruce uses terrorism as inspiration

Sample from the "humor" piece: "In conjunction with Pete Townshend's addiction to kiddie porn (not a laughing matter; young children having sex is still disgusting despite what Diopolis says), Bruce Springsteen is putting a series of bonus tracks at the end of his album dedicated to those with child-porno-lovers' disease.
I don't quite know what to make of this article. It read more like someone who forgot to take their medication as opposed to a real humor or satirical piece, IMO.

Tennis, anyone? Not today

Mention In The Column: One of the ways tourists get around in downtown San Diego is in pedicabs — bicycle-propelled carriages. I've yet to avail myself of one, though. I mean, they sound like something Pete Townshend and R. Kelly would cruise the streets in.

From MyWestTexas.com
Here is our weekly roundup of cheers and jeers prompted by events in the news this past week:
Sample From The Article:Rocker Pete Townshend who disappointed his legions of Baby Boom generation fans with his falling under suspicion of possessing indecent images of children. His defense (performing "research") is equally disappointing.
Can someone point out that; 1.) Not all of Pete Townshend's fans are baby boomers, 2.)Not all Pete Townshend fans (and supporters) are disapointed in a man who has not even been charged with a crime and 3.) Perhaps his "disapointing" excuse is true. The writers name is Meta Minton, who is also the editor for Midland Reporter-Telegram.
